The most classic way to take measurement. You can simply measure your body with the help of our guideline, for that perfect fit. Very important to measure your body accurately – please do not make any additions or deductions to your body measurement while specifying here. Based on the fit selected (comfort, skinny, bootcut, etc) designer will make appropriate changes to the measurement to give the perfect fit. If you need to provide any specification with respect to your measurement (for example you want your actual jeans bottom, or thighs or hips to be of a particular size) provide it in additional instruction column.
Once you place the order we will check all your measurements and see if they are in proportion before making your jeans. We will contact you if we need to reconfirm the measurements.
Garment measurement is the easiest and most commonly used for providing measurement. The advantage is you can measure your well fitted jeans and modify the measurements if you wish to give it a much better fit. Follow simple guidelines to provide your jeans measurement.
Once you place the order we will check all your measurements and see if they are in proportion before making your jeans.
Measure the circumference at the place where you will actually wear your jeans. Your waist measurement will be the entire circumference of the area where your jeans will rest. So if you want a low, mid or high waist jeans you will measure the low, mid or high waist circumference and not your natural waist.
While measuring, position the tape very close to the body without tightening. Wear a belt or rope around the place where you want your jeans to rest so that it will also help you to measure your length and crotch. You can also use a marker to highlight your waist line where you want to rest your jeans.
First take the waist line taken for measuring your waist (calculated above) as the base. Measure the side of your leg from the waistline. Keep the tape parallel to your leg and let it flow free to the floor. This will be the outer length of your jeans. You can take this measurement either barefoot or wearing your shoes depending on your preference.
Please do not provide the length mentioned in the label size of the garment. Actual length of the jeans and what is shown on the label may differ.
Even up the jeans so that the back and the front waistline are parallel – in a straight line. Start from the edge – use your forefinger and thumb to hold the tape in a straight line. Measure it across. Multiply this by two to determine the full waist circumference.
Measure your jeans from point A to B and then multiply by 2.
Please do not provide the label size of the jeans.
The out seam is the entire length of the jeans...measured from the top of the waist...down the side- all the way down to the leg opening.
Place the jeans flat on the surface exactly as shown in the image and then measure from point A to B.
While you measure, the jeans should be stretched out with no creases. Take center of the front crotch and go across edge to edge. Double this measurement. This is the seat or hip measurement. You do not have to measure from the stitching but from the edge to the other edge. Now double this measurement. Measure your jeans from point A to B and then multiply by 2.
Fabric should be evened out without any creases. Please see the placing of the measuring tape carefully. Measure from 1 inch below the crotch seam edge to the opposite edge of any thigh. Then multiply it by 2
Measure 13 inches from the crotch down the inside seam of the leg. From this point (13 inches down from the crotch) measure from one side of the pant leg to the other (the width of the knee). Double this measurement.
Turn around the jeans and pull the jeans as shown in the image. The back rise is from the crotch seam to the top of waistband in the back.
This is where the foot come out. Measure from one side of the leg opening to the other side. Double this measurement. Place the jeans flat on the surface as shown in the image and then measure from point A to B and then multiply it by 2.
